I know I’m a single pringle right? So I decided that since no one will be gifting me for val or even say how amazing I’ve been to them, I would gift myself which then makes me “My Val"
My insight about valentine’s day
Valentine’s day is a day to show and give love to everyone around us although we do that on a daily bases (I know y’all do ) but February 14th is just a day set aside to acknowledge it. Now it’s of no new thing that most people like myself won’t be getting anything from anyone…. Not because we’re bad but it’s just the way it is.
Now instead of feeling down for not having a val I think it should awaken us to the good side which is “ Self Appreciation” If there’s nobody to appreciate you for being awesome, i urge you to do that. Use that advantage to say nice things to yourself, take yourself out on a date, buy yourself some gifts and enjoy the moment…..
What I Gift Myself For Valentine And Why?
After contemplating on what I should gift myself with, I finally got an idea.
There’s this set of books I’ve always loved to read so I made up mind to get these books as a Val gift.
Everyone who knows me, know that I’m so much of a book fam. I love to read cause i believe growth comes with lots of learning.
Now, over to y’all ladies out there… don’t feel down or rejected for not being appreciated instead cheer up, get dressed, go out and take some fresh air
